WHY DO WE CALL OUR VOLUNTEERS "TEAM 7"?

We're glad you asked! In the Bible we're introduced to the number seven and its great meaning and symbolism. The number seven has connecting meanings of fulness and completeness. In the new testament seven men where chosen tosupport the Apostles efforts to further The Gospel in the midst of a growing church. Our desire is to build a committed volunteer force that is also "full" and "complete" so we too fulfill our calling as growing church community.

EXPECTATIONS & AGREEMENTS.

As a Christian organization, we trust The Bible as our source of instruction, wisdom and guidance to a Godly lifestyle. Because of this, we desire our volunteers to both model and represent the Christian faith and our church organization. This is achieved by requirements, expectations, values and agreements upheld.

What are the Requirements and Expectations for Team 7?

1 Must be a born again believer, confessing Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior.

2 Trust The Bible as the inspired Word of God for truth and revelation.

3 Adopt the vision, mission and commit TDP Church as home church.

4 Embrace the 7 Core Values and serve exemplifying them.

5 Read and agree to uphold the Team 7 Lifestyle Expectation.

6 Read and agree to uphold the Team 7 Dress code Modesty Expectation.

7 Attend seven worship services, having each visit noted by a Team 7 Administrator. 

WHAT’S NEXT?

Begin familiarizing yourself with these 7 expectations along with the potential volunteer opportunities by exploring our Team 7 Ministry Brochure. We encourage you to ask questions to our Team 7 Administrators for more information concerning our ministries and church. Remember to visit our administration for each service you attend as you progress in the completion of your seven services. Upon completion of all expectations and in order to present you our Volunteer Contract Agreement Form, administrators will confirm your understanding and agreement to uphold expectations and requirements. Please note, with these seven expectations, additional requirements within each ministry may vary. All applicants must be thirteen years of age in order to volunteer. Any applicants under the age of eighteen, must have their Team 7 Volunteer Contract Agreement Form also signed by their parent and/or guardian.
